Liam on the move

Liam on the move.  You'll see towards the end that I had to get up and move the power extension cord as he was grabbing a hold.  Boy, he's quick!

Liam at 9 months!

We now have a 9 month old!  He's very active and is starting to keep us on our toes.  We are having to baby proof the house and looking at some baby gates as we have a mighty curious little fella on our hands.

His stats at 9 months are 24 Lbs and 30 Inches long.  He's in the 97 percentile for his age.  He's able to go from tummy to sitting up on his own and does the army crawl to get around.  He got two teeth on top with two more trying to make an appearance.  He's been gnawing on anything he can to get relief.  The doctor said these are the most painful for the little ones.  He's also got three teeth on the bottom.

He's making A LOT of noise and tries to copy the noises you make to him.  We are starting to introduce the foods we eat and he's slowly coming around to them.  He still prefers the baby food.  He's doing better at picking up foods on his tray.  He loves to drink out of his sippy cup and definitely prefers to toss it on the floor after he's done with it.  This is of course a fun game for Liam and not so much for the Momma.

He loves to read board books and play with his toys however, he does more inspecting how they work then playing with them.

He's sitting up well in the carts when we go shopping and also loves the samples at Costco and Sam's Club!

Here are his 9 month old photos.

Reading his new board book ~ Polar Bear, Polar Bear

Mom, I'm busy reading and have no time for a photo shoot!

The 9 month sticker is very fascinating!

His new musical stacker.  He loves it.

His favorite- fingers in mouth.

The only smile I was able to get from the photo shoot.  I'll take what I can get when someone's awfully grumpy because of his teething.

He was enjoying his stats board and erased most of his information.

For Uncle John...

Liam's found two new holes to place his fingers.  It started on St. Patrick's Day by just placing his thumb just outside his nostril.  Well, now we have full blown insertion.

These are for his Uncle John!

A little dinner etiquette ~ March 23, 2014

We probably shouldn't have been laughing at him because it just further encouraged this behavior.

Liam loves his peas

I made his some homemade peas and he really enjoyed them.  It was much easier than I thought it would be to make a few of my own baby food.  Here's the messy aftermath from peas from dinner.

He's such a funny baby!

Liam smiling

Those on Facebook have already seen this photo but have to say it's one of my favorites of him.

Liam getting up on his knees

More pulling himself up on his knees.  He is also getting himself up from the laying position to the sitting position but have yet been able to capture that on video.  He always seems a little suprised at himself when he does it. :)

Liam in action

This video says it all...our little guy will be on the move soon!

Love his eyes in this photo!

Looking for a big St. Patty's kiss!

Happy!

Totally looks like his Daddy in this photo and sporting his Lucky T-shirt if you didn't notice. ;)

Ha! I think someone's tired of the camera in his face.

Okay, Mom.  One last shot.

Liam on St. Patrick's Day

Liam's very much in to figuring out how things work and why are things where they are as you will see in this video he is very inspecting his jumper and the ring that keeps it from slipping down.

Sleepy little guy

For the first time Liam fell asleep at the start of lunch with apple cinnamon wheel in his hand.

Nap time!

Be Happy!

8 Months Old

Our boy turned 8 months on February 26th 2014, and he is so active!  He's not crawling yet but he is rolling all over and love to play with his toys and books.  He working on the top two teeth and I wish they'd make an appearance as he is wanting to bite everything just to get some relief.  He's picking up food with his fingers and trying to get them in his mouth.  He'd be successful however his hands are always wet and the puff snack stick to his fingers.  He's starting to hold his own bottle but only for a little bit.  He still prefers to keep his hands free to play with your face, which is fine by me. :)  He's babbling a ton and can say mama although he hasn't quite figured out that I'm his Mama. All in good time.  We are still doing swim class every Thursday and he's mastered closing his eyes when he goes under water.  We just have to work on the closing of the mouth. He loves to splash his hands in the water and is always surprised when the splashes come up on his face.  Looking forward to what the next month has to bring us.
